Who I am, and Why do I do this stuff...

 

We are Rich and Rexie Carlson. He is a police officer in a suburban Chicago village, and counts amateur radio (N9JIG), scanner radio, rail fanning, aviation, highways and maps, and computers as some of his hobbies. She is a homemaker and crafter. She works with digital imagery, and is responsible for many of the photographs and images on these pages as well as the page layout and design. Rich has been researching the highway numbering system for several years, and he recently spoke to the IDOT Traffic Engineers Conference in Champaign regarding his work.

He edits several ScannerMaster books, and is proud to be a director of:
