ON Provincal Highway 6 runs from Espanola south to Burlington. Part of this route is on Manitoulin Island, and goes thru a wildlife preserve of the same name.
ON uses letter appendages for business routes and spurs into towns. ON-17A for instance goes into Echo Bay. This sign, while on the mainline, appears to be intended for a letter appendage. As you can see this is also the Trans-Canada Highway.
